Why a Blog About Love & Weddings?
And does where we get married even matter?
Does how we get married matter?
I think, like anything else, what matters to you is what matters to you.
But I’d counter those questions with this:
Do you believe in energy?
In frequency?
Do you believe those things can impact you—or that we can impact them?
If the answer is yes, then I don’t see how the way we get married wouldn’t matter.
Let’s be clear: getting married means something different to everyone.
This won’t be one of those “to each their own” but still religiously centered wedding pages.
I believe God is everywhere—especially in nature.
And the union between two people who find each other in a world of 8 billion?
That’s one of the most beautiful things we get to witness as human beings.
It’s just important to remember: all traditions are man- and woman-made.
None are more valid than the other.
No love is more valid either—as long as it’s real.
If there’s one thing I know for sure:
Love is one of the most powerful forces in the world.
It cleanses like fire, floats like air, grounds like earth, and flows like water.
It holds every element—and that’s why it’s the fifth.
The fifth element follows you—into your forever celebration.
Whether it’s outdoors, in a church, in a backyard.
Whether you had a bachelorette, a bridal shower, or nothing at all.
I want to tell stories of all the ways I’ve seen love.
Yes, sometimes it’ll be limited to my own lens—I can’t tell stories I haven’t lived or witnessed.
But I love love.
And I hope that in sharing these stories, these perspectives, and this way of seeing,
you might fall in love with love too.
